HAIL- MY WORST NIGHTMARE

I suppose I have been anticipating one of these storms, hoping upon hope that it would not happen this year.
Well, the heavens opened with crashing and banging along with a hail storm of note.
Started small size about a drawing pin head, but grew to half golf ball size, and not just for a second or two but for well over ten minutes.
I write this as I prepare to go and survey the fields. I fear the worst, the 200 Cauliflower and broccoli seedlings planted on Thursday will be gone.

I have had a brief look, but too downhearted to make proper observations. We shall see tomorrow!
