A LITTLE WATERSHED HISTORY

As the name implies, the farm is straddling the watershed between two river systems. It is reduced from its original size, sections having been sold off, but the inner core of the farm was kept allowing for large paddocks of flattish land for its last function before becomming a chicken sheep and vegetable farm.
That function was one of being an Arabian Horse Stud Farm, which operated successfully for some time. It was only due to illness that the stud had to close.
Interestingly the original farm, and up to sale to ourselves, was owned by the same family name for over 100 years. this is extreemly unusual in South Africa.
