The masterful Old-Bok has redirected/redisigned the website so as to make it more interesting--- so my task is to start adding content that supports the plan.
Here goes.....
Some six years ago Anne and I decided that the rat race of living in a Durban city suburb and a lifestyle that was monotonous and routine were two factors for MAKING A CHANGE.
So where to and why?
With the kids and grandchildren living within a close distance, we did not want to move too far, both agreed on a maximum of one and a half hours drive to Kloof. Out came the Atlas/map books and the start of our hunt. we took a piece of string and a known distance covered in our self structured time limit drew a semicircle from our residence.
The beach or mountain question arose... both decided that a cool and low humidity climate was needed. Sorry beach!
A six month weekends search ensued and we almost settled upon an orange farm near Richmond. One critical item was that the place we were searching for had to have the following.... (more next time)
