The day before yesterday our 9 family Christmas guests elected to return to their homes- cars buckling at the seams with the many presents that had arrived from Santa, and a few extra kilo's of body mass!
Yesterday we sold our first lot of vegetables to the Rotunda farm stall all in all around 90 Broccoli punnets and 24 lettuce's not much BUT a start.
I totalled up chickens sold for this December and it was 1236 in total- one of our best months ever- mortality for the period was well down, so maybe we are learning a bit about animal husbandary?
Today the sun shines, its going to be a well above 25 degree day and life on the farm is good. I shall chop some branches off the pin-oak on the one driveway corner- Sam (my eldest daughter)most annoyed with it cleaning the one side of her car on each pass.
The 25hp motor for the generator has decided to not play ball so we shall be taking it out and getting a professional to rectify whatever is wrong
