The grader man passed our farm gate some four days ago. Great news, in about two weeks the 10.2kms to Boston Tar road will no longer resemble a marathon rumble strip with unsanded bunkers every half a km.
We lost two young sheep (not lost in looking for them, ) but taken by jesus to a bettter pasture in the sky. Sad. I have had to inject two others including Pikanini who were looking a trifle unhappy.
The temperature has gradually moved down and mornings are now single digit degrees- some days no higher than 13 degrees at midday. My days of shorts, T shirt and a light jacket are numbered- tracksuits and fleece jacket the order of the day.
I do hope my freind John Skliros gets a look at this- I have failed him miserably in not posting regular shots of interest- John I am sorry and will try to be more regular.
It has just drizzled for the last half hour and I see the clouds coming down to meet the ground- misty night.
I hope my freinds will come spend a night or two chatting over a log fire and sipping whatever. We have a glorius blaze on the go right now which pleases the dogs no end.
Sleep well all of you.
