OK so I have moaned about the odd cold morning and a few frosts, but..........
This weekend and especially this morning have been the coldest by farrrrrrrrrr!
When it warms up to 7 degrees midday and edges past -3 degrees early morning, its not that funny.
Today, Monday 11th June, that was our temperature.
The water pipes even clad, were frozen and only defrosted around midday. We picked veges for my daughter and grandson at around 10.00 and there was still plenty of ice in the shaded areas.
I guess it is about right, because I recall that the winter solstice is 22 June?? Midwinter.
