Themba recovered very well, and I took him to the bus terminal yesterday so that he could return to Durban and his family. Plans are that he sees his doctor and reviews the meds he is on. My doctor felt they were too little by dose.
If he feels significantly better in the next 4/5 days, we will see if a return to the farm to carry on with the painting programme.
I used the occasion to deliver ready to cook frozen chickens to two customers as well as a good veg delivery.
Today we await the arrival of the next Cold Front. My weather guru's the Trolls say the there will be some drizzle, winds at around 15km/hr but the bottom temps around 8 degrees. This is much warmer than the last one--zero degrees. The layers are performing extreamly well and are producing an egg per hen per day now for at least 6 days. we are having to water the seedlings almost every second day, as no rain again for the last 14 days!!!!!! Dare I say the D word?
