THE FIRST VALLEY FROSTS

The sun has just peeked its nose above the ring of hills in front of the house. I have already taken the dogs for their morning ritual walk, sniff, chase imaginery things and do their business. Above the farm one gets a grand view of the valley, shrouded in mists along the rivers and where the mist has cleared i could see large areas of white frost.
The temperature when I took the dogs was a mere 4 degrees but with the sun it will warm up rapidly. I guess our maximum will reach around 22 degrees today- clear and no rain forecast.
Both Anne and I are suffering from a case of 24hr flu so not at our best. Tomorrow will be better.
