NEW VEGETABLE PLANTINGS

Well, as per my last blog, we have bought in the very lasy seedlings for a late planting- really a test of the length of autumn.

I met an excellent fellow Richard, who spent much time giving me the low-down on seasonal plantings, herbicides, natural fertilisers and processes that improve yields. Gosh, if I can achieve 10% of the improvements he suggests we could expand!!

Last Saturday's karkloof veg market was my first... a long day on my feet, many cups of cappachino and not too much sold. I suppose there is always a firdt time. I stood in for Daniel (nicknamed Tonto) as he had a cricket match or something on.
