I cannot believe that it will be Febuary in 2 days- must be age!
Updating the vegetable sales- as a project, it has been a success. We have now firm base of 4 customers and Nick and grandson Daniel are selling at the Farmers Market outside Howick every Saturday. This helps us, but also them as Daniel is learning that reward for work in money form allows him to save for the ubiquitous Playstation he so wants. Nick and Sam earn enough to almost cover a weeks groceries, and we get what we would have sold for. Win Win.
I guess quantities are abot
Carrots- 20kg per week
Lettuce around 60 units
Cauliflower around 60 units
Broccolli around 20kg
Potatoes around 80kg
Something at least. Chicken sales as usual are slow this month so we will be trying a few other markets.
